Hand Cleaning Formulations

Liquid hand soaps provide an economical and effective method of keeping your hands hygienically clean without the mess associated with a bar of traditional soap. We offer a range of anionic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants that you can use in formulations for a wide variety of hand soaps.


The following formulations are for general purpose liquid hand soaps with a range of active contents:

The products can be prepared by charging the water followed with agitation by the Kemsurf products when the mixture is homogeneous charge the Amphokem CAPB and Lansurf CDE-G.


You can then adjust the pH and add the preservative along with any colourant or fragrance that you need. You can increase viscosity by the addition of sodium chloride.


Where moisturising is required to help negate the effects of regular washing the addition of glycerin will be beneficial.


The following formulation offers benefits of this moisturising effect in combination with a sulphate free product.

The products can be prepared by charging the water followed with agitation by the Kemsurf OS38 when the mixture is homogeneous charge the Amphokem CAPB, Lansurf CDE-G and glycerin. The pH can then be adjusted, and the preservative added along with any required colourant or fragrance. The viscosity can be increased by the addition of sodium chloride.
